idea?!!! These characters are so different they can't even be compared. 
Barney Fife was a physically funny character, very naive, always screwing 
something up and occasionally causing himself physical harm. Snape just has 
poor judgement sometimes, he's biased by his past, which we know very little 
about. He hates Harry simply because of James, though we don't yet know 
Snape's full history. I find it extremely hard to believe that someone like 
Barney Fife could successfully spy for Dumbledore and not be found out, and 
murdered within the span of a day or two. Furthermore, can you honestly 
picture Alan Rickman in full Snape costume playing Barney in an episode of 
the show?! I know I can't!
