I didn't mean that she's *always* in the common room in cat form. But late
at night, when the students are asleep, it would make good sense to do so -
especially when Sirius is on the loose and they're fearful for Harry's life.

But you're right, she probably doesn't do that, because if she did, Harry
would have a heck of a time sneaking out in the middle of the night ;)
