I think it's a great idea, and it's been discussed before. But that 
in no way excuses their absolutely abominable treatment of Harry. I 
want to see the "summer" scene in the next book be where Harry 
finally takes the Dursleys to task for their child abuse. They can 
plead for forgiveness as much as they want, because they were trying 
to "protect" Harry, but he should not forgive them.

I would like to see him find a way to put the fear of God into them, 
make them afraid that he could give them all pig's tails at any 
moment. He obviously can't do that, because it would violate the 
rules, but if he could find a way to make them very afraid of him, I 
would be very happy, indeed.

It's time they got theirs.
