Hi all,
These discussions on colour intrigued me. Has anyone else noted the
similarities between the evil green serpent in C.S. Lewis' "The
Silver Chair" and the Slytherin House motif, and Aslan the Lion and
the Gryffindors? The inclusion of red as a colour for the Gryffindors
was interesting too given that I believe Aslan's blood plays a
significant part in one of Lewis' novels, though for the life of me I
can't remember which.
I would appreciate any pointers towards previous discussions on this
topic.
