Considering what they can DO, I think $70 is a bargain.  Wouldn't YOU pay that 
much to get your hands on one?  These aren't your ordinary binoculars, after all!

You must admit that Dragon's liver at 17 sickles per ounce is a great deal, 
considering what they must go through to get it and how rare it must be.  I've 
always wondered . . . since 17 sickles equals a galleon, why not just say one 
galleon per ounce?  Is this the equivalent of Muggles pricing things at 99 cents 
instead of a dollar ?
