But it wasn't casual. It's specifically mentioned that as being 
something she's never done before. The implication is that kissing 
her friends just isn't something Hermione does, normally. And for all 
we know, she could've been incredibly embarassed afterward. Since it 
happened at the very end of the book, we have no way of knowing.
