I don't think that Harry and Ron are being disloyal to Hermione
simply because they refuse to fully embrace the S.P.E.W manifesto. It
does not seem reasonable to me to require people to agree with your
every passionate cause, just to prove their friendship. In fact, a
true friend will be the one to tell you that they think you may
be "off base" when you get so crazed about any one issue, that you
refuse to consider any other views but your own.
She should have been grateful that they bought the badges at all.
