i saw an interview with JK Rowling (harry potter and me) where she
said that she had thought of Rita Skeeter before she became famous
and that RS wasn't based on any of the reporters she came in contact
with.She even said that she had to imagine what it was like to be
Harry in that situation and then she really was in that situation,so
i think she had already written Rita Sketter before she knew what it
was like to be famous
