Before I go off for the weekend to Toronto (yeah!), I have to comment 
on this. My question was, "Do we see anyone who cares about the 
mudblood/halfblood distinction?" As I said, the Malfoys stick to 
the "one drop" rule, Dumbledore accepts everyone. Are the careful 
distinctions we draw between mudbloods and halfbloods represented by 
anyone in the book?
