<If Sirius has changed at all since his Hogwarts days (which is
highly
debatable, BTW), I think he has become even more, well, dangerous.
<There is no doubt in my mind that, had Harry not objected, Sirius
was
going to kill Peter dead. Dead, dead, dead. Had Lupin chickened
<out, Sirius would have pushed Lupin aside, turned up the voltage on
his own wand, and blasted Peter all by himself. Had that not worked,
Sirius would have killed Peter with his bare hands. Sirius doesn't
<have a squeamish bone in his body.

<By the way, Lupin and Sirius really weren't thinking all that
straight in the Shrieking Shack. If I felt I had to dispatch another
human being in cold blood while that person begged for his life with
<three 13-year old kids standing around watching, I'd ask the kids to
go stand in the hall. Lupin and Sirius never even consider asking
the three kids to step outside, even when Hermione turns to the wall
<to avoid seeing Peter murdered.

While I think that the way Sirius acted in the Sheirking shack was
irrational, I think going to Azkaban at such a young age stunted him
as a person. Suddenly he's out and he had to clear his name,
protect
Harry, and get the bad guy. I think he was doing what he thought best
by killing Wormtail. Sirius really hadn't had the opportunity to
grow
up, so on some levels he's still the 20-23 year old that went to
Azkaban. He hasn't been around people in 13yrs so his social
skills
are gone.

What do they do there all day in Azkaban? If nothing, then his mind
is stuck at that maturity level also.

I like to think he spent the summer between POA and GOF at Hogwarts
getting updated on everything by Dumbledore.

What house was everyone in? I think that MWPP was in a different
house. Like a represtive from each house. But somehow I think that
Sirius and James knew each other before school.
