Except that it never *was* Hagrid! It was Tom Marvolo Riddle, 
Parselmouth and Heir to Slytherin in Slytherin dorm!

Hagrid was merely wrongly accused.

No... Hagrid was in Gryffindor (Didn't he sort of say it's the BEST 
house in the first book? And every student thinks his house is 
Best...)
