All I've heard is that JKR is still writing it.  On the HP Lexicon, 
it is tentatively suggested that it may come out by fall 2002.  I 
heard a couple weeks ago (not sure where, in the news or something) 
that it may not come out until 2003, but then later I read that that 
was a rumour, not true, and the publishers were still thinking 2002.  
Maybe someone else will know more than that.  I hope so.  This wait 
is killing me...
