I remember hearing that; that's right, we're losing our charming young 
Oliver Wood with this book, aren't we?

Surprise me, surprise me...well, they've got to bring on, what, three new 
players this year.  I'd be extremely surprised if an existing team member 
wasn't promoted (I'd think it would be Harry myself).

Oh - this reminds me of another question I've had for some time - how come 
Gryffindor doesn't have a second string, a "Second Seven"?  I have read 
enough British school books and have enough friends in Commonwealth nations 
to know the expression "First Eleven", and that always implies the existenc 
eof a "B team" from among whom to choose relief players when one is ill or 
injured.  I can't beliee no one else plays Quidditch just because they're 
not on a house team.
