Does anyone know where the quote is from that JKR said James was in
Gryffindor?  I found the quote about Lily being in Gryffindor in the October
2000 Scholastic interview, but can't find the one about James.

What if they were all in the same house?  And Snape was more of a "true
Slytherin" as in being interested in dark arts, etc.  And thus they didn't
like him.  I'm trying to find a way for someone good to have been in
Slytherin, or else why don't they mark all Slytherins as "possible future
traitor."

Which lends to my theory that possibley James started out as Slytherin and
was switched to Gryffindor?  Or Lily?
