number one, he hasn't done
a single redeemable thing in 4 years at Hogwarts. Every single
oppertunity he's ever had to be a horrible, wrotten little brat he's
jumped on.
I write:
I guess you're not considering when he told the Trio to get out of the way at the World Cup as not happening at Hogwarts. And if you think that reporting people for breaking school rules, as Draco did regarding Harry and Hermione with Norbert, or Harry in Hogsmeade, or, from his perspective, Harry with the broom in first year, is simply being a brat, then have at it, but I don't think his motivations were so simple.
Greg also wrote:
Number 2, someone's gotta be evil in order for there to
be a story of good vs. evil.
I write:
Yep, and that's Voldemort, not Draco. Is it impossible to believe that Draco might be in a shade of grey, and may hate Harry and also, eventualy, realise that Voldemort isn't a good guy? I mean, Snape did. Does.

...he had enough followers to fill that graveyard
even though a bunch didn't show. He's got to do some recruiting to
fill the wholes in order to be *as* terrible. Draco's going to be
standing right next to his father.
Me:
Yes, he has to do recriuting. And we know from Barty Crouch that he recruits teens. And Draco would seem like a reasonable prospect, assuming Voldemort forgets, or at least "forgets" the way Draco ran away from him first year. But that doesn't mean he fully understands that being a Death Eater means kowtowing to this ugly, unhuman creature, watching his father be deferential, or even actually killing someone or something hands on. There's a huge difference between tooth-growing (which, imho, is less cruelly
painful than giving someone boils) and AK.
Greg notes that he's one...
-Who hates all just about every Draco/anyone fan fic ever written.
I ask:
Have you ever tried a draco/nobody series, like my Surfeit of Curses? It's at schnoogle...
