New Gryffindor Quidditch Captain

    Hi all. Quickly popping out of lurkdom to get something off of my 
chest. I need to know what you guys think. 
    Am I lost in assuming that there will have to be a new Gryffindor 
Quidditch captain this year, and that we may be surprised who it is?  
I picked that up somewhere, not sure where, but it got me to thinking. 
Who would be most shocking? Someone who isn't a player already? Sure, 
but that could be any number of people, including, but not limited to, 
Ron, Hermione, Neville (Ha!), etc. How about someone who doesn't play 
. . . at Hogwarts.  
    In my line of thinking, when, at the end of GoF, Dumbledore very 
openly welcomes all students who would seek refuge at Hogwarts a 
place within its walls, and looks *purposefully*, shall we say, at the 
Durmstrang students, one (at least) takes him very seriously. I think 
the new captain will be Krum, having switched schools, he will be 
sorted into Gryffindor (having only sat at the Slytherin table in GoF 
b/c of his headmaster's allegiance to it).  
    Ooh! Hard times for HRH! The romantic triangles! The pride! The 
angst! I love it!

    Of course, I don't know what year he was in GoF, so it is quite 
possible that I could be very wrong.  Maybe I'll check around and kick 
myself when I work out its not possible. However, I will post this 
anyway b/c I like the idea.
