Yes, all that is true.. but let me remind you of Wormtail. He was a weakling
who was always leeching off bigger friends. James, Remus and Sirius knew
this and didn't consider him much of a threat. He ended up destroying the
Potters and Black. It's ignoring and not taking seriously little cowards
like Wormtail and Draco that gets the oh-so-noble heroes into trouble.
Voldemort didn't want Wormtail because he was a coward. Voldemort wanted
Wormtail because Peter's friends knew he was a coward and looked down on
him.

I'm sure he'll find uses for Draco and the way the "good guys" look down on
the little Malfoy.
