My main problem w/ this is again Hagrid's quote about every dark 
witch coming from Slytherin house.  The fact that he seemed so 
excited to come get Harry, not to mention how upset he was @ Lily & 
James's death while havind to drop Harry off w/ the Muggles, all 
implies to me that Hagrid was friends w/ Harry's parents.  I just 
don't see Hagrid saying something so blatantly negative, about the 
house either one of Harry's parents were in to their son who had been 
orphaned.  Even Hagrid can't be lacking that much tact.
