homicidal maniacs great all the time? I know I don't!

The way I see it, the defition of great is not the more common
definition of "very good" but rather, a slightly less common
definition of: "big." (Although big might not be the best word.
Lemme check my dictionary.
"Of unusual importance." Yeah, thats a good one. Voldemort, although
he stunk as a human being, massively affected people. Voldemort was
a key player in many people's lives. (To pick some easier ones,
Sirius, Snape, Harry Potter, Neville, Wormtail...)
"Skillful." You bet he was skillful. He was one of the most powerful
wizards of the his days, only comparable with Dumbledore in magic.
And he wasn't just one of those villians who rose to power by slowly
gaining popularity, he rose to power by his own magical strength.
