This is something that has been bugging me ever since I read
GoF...and I looked up the archieves for an answer...but there is
just *SO* much...so forgive me if the point has been raised...(I'm
new here, y'know).

At the end of GoF, it's assumed that Snape is going to become a spy
again. The problem is that Lord Voldemort was personally there
(under Quirrell's turban) when Snape was giving Quirrel the shake-
down about the Sorcerer's Stone. Which means, Voldemort knows that
Snape is no longer on his side.

With this is mind, do you think that Snape would have readily gone
back to spy on Voldemort? unless he didn't know that Voldemort was
under Quirrel's tuban. Would Dumbledore send Snape to become a spy
under such dangerous circumstances? unless Dumbledore didn't know
that Snape was threatening Quirrell thoughout the first book.

If our friend Snape did go off to spy for Voldemort, then he would
have to give a lot of excuses to the Dark Lord and his followers to
allow him back into the fold, and as we know, Voldemort is not a
forgiving sort of fellow.

Man, I wish the 5th book would come out! The suspence is killing me!
