Hi Stephanie,

I noticed that about Halloween, too.  With the exception of PoA, 
everything that happens on Halloween has to do with evil getting 
stronger, something happening to help Voldemort along.  (too bad 
about the aberration of PoA - it seemed evil at the time, but not 
after knowing that Sirius is a good guy.)  Hmm...who knows?  At the 
moment I have no sound theories as to why pivotal things happen on 
Halloween, besides the obvious connotation of Halloween being a scary 
sort of holiday.  But maybe something will occur to me later, or 
maybe someone else will think of something.

At any rate, I agree with you, I noticed that too, and I am very 
curious to see what happens on Halloween in OoP, because I bet it 
will be significant.
