Since when is it *honorable* to smuggle an illegal dragon out of
Hogwarts? The way I see it, Draco actually did the right thing, for
once - if YOU saw someone breaking the law, wouldn't you turn them in?
Also, Gryffindor only had to make such a 'miraculous comeback'
because of *Harry's* mistake.
SS, pg. 243-244, US paperback edition:
Professor McGonagall: "(...) and fifty points will be taken from
Gryffindor."
"*Fifty?*" Harry gasped - they would lose the lead, the lead he'd won
in the last Quidditch match.
"Fifty points *each*," said Professor McGonagall, breathing heavily
through her long, pointed nose.
So, they might have only lost 50 points if Harry had kept his mouth
shut.

Okay, so Draco's an idiot. That doesn't mean that *all* Slytherins
are, does it? There are some pretty mean people in the other houses,
too - in CoS, people from all houses were insulting Harry because of
the Heir of Slytherin thing. In GoF, almost everyone except for
Gryffindor was against Harry because he wasn't the "real" Hogwarts
champion.
Also, Draco does have a reason to not like Harry - he tried to make
friends with Harry at first, but Harry rejected him. Draco has
reason to not like Ron - he laughed at Draco just because he was a
Malfoy. As for Neville... well, personally, I think that Draco (and
the
other Slytherins) can't be the only ones who make fun of Neville. I
wouldn't be surprised if we were to find members of other houses,
even
Gryffindors, making fun of Neville somewhere down the line.
I'm going to stop writing now because I'm starting to not make sense,
okay? :)
