I would think that will all that is going on at the time, it is just
a detail that is lost. I was also under the impression that the only
people at Hogwarts that knew about the TT were McGonnagal and
Dumbledore. Since the "being in two places at once" was a referal to
Harry and not Hermione, the association was not made. I also think
that Fudge doesn't really have a clue what is going on when it comes
to most Ministry business, unless it is of "major" importance and is
going to make him look good.
