    I believe that Snape has gone undercover for Dumbledore again. D tells 
him he knows what he must do, and Snape visibly pales but looks determined. 
It seems right, because we already know that Snape was a spy once, and with V 
back, he should do it again. Also, we know from dialogue that V will kill 
traitors, so for Snape's sake, D is probably sending him back to make it look 
like he was still loyal.
