Well, then you also have the fact that Sirius is not all sweetness 
and light (hey, I like the guy, he's probably my favorite character 
but the man does have some issues, both reasonable and otherwise).  I 
never said the analogy is perfect; JKR has a tendency to overturn and 
complicate archetypes as well as employ them.  But I think some 
parallels can be drawn.
