I don't at all buy transformed animagi having the brains of the animal
they've transformed into.  If so, then how do they know how to perform
the magic to change back?  How could Malfoy "give Rita the dirt" when
creatures with the brain of a beetle aren't journalists (as a rule)?
And why did Padfoot growl at Fudge's insinuations about
Harry's sanity? -- With the brain of a dog, he shouldn't be able
to understand the conversation.
