I understand your position, although I do not agree with it. You seem 
to sugest that Harry needs all that preparation to survive the attack 
of Voldemort. Ever read Orson Scott Card's "Ender's Game"? It 's a 
short story about a very similar situation. I like the story, although 
it's somewhat cruel, and reflects your views exactly.

However, I know (and I think you do, as well) that events will prove me 
right and that Harry will be able to win with the education he's 
receiving right now, without any need of special circumstances. The 
only room for discussion is whether he'll survive the fight and, if he 
doesn't, if he would have been able to survive if he had received the 
education. The trouble is, if the only way to survive is to receive an 
education which will mean he's social death as soon as his work is 
over, I don't know which would be worse.
