I was reading in my "Quidditch Through The Ages" book and came across the 
'Rules' for Quidditch. Rule # 5 states "In the case of injury, no 
substitution of players will take place. The team will play on without the 
injured player."

I'm not sure if this rule only applied to players injured in the game or 
players not playing because of injuries. *S*
