I'm mildly offended. I'm from that generation (I was born in 1981), and 
have always been very considerate about what other people know and 
don't know. Then again, I don't particularly find myself as an example 
of my generation (for example, I read books, the idea of which my 
generation finds not just boring but offensive), so there's not much 
thing I can do to counter that one.

That's always the particular thing about evil overlords: they don't 
have to make sense. Voldy was a half-blood by his own words, so I don't 
think he would be that opposed to using mud-bloods if it furthered his 
objectives. I know it's against the rules mentioning him, but Hitler 
wasn't a tall, blue-eyed blonde, nor many of his spies.
