Yeah, but I don't see this happen.

While Ron is impulsive and strikes back when someone attacks
him or his friends, he doesn't really start things.

Both he and Ron talk about ways to get Draco expelled during their
Christmas break in book 1, but it's pretty clear that this
is not serious.

Azkaban is definitely nothing to joke around with.

While all three of them might *think* about keeping quiet in
the case you describe, I don't believe any of them would be
capable of actually going through with it.
