It's hard to tell without knowing why Snape hates Harry, or pretends 
to hate Harry or whatever.
Dumbledore neatly avoids answering Harry's question, so we don't know 
if it has something to do with Harry reminding him of James, or being 
quintessential Gryffindor.
But I'm sure he would treat him better if he'd got some small apology 
at the end of year 1.
