We also know from canon that sickles are silver. Are we to assume
that is their color and they are made from some sort of alloy, or are
they made of actual silver? If they are indeed silver, then I'd
assume that werewolves in Potterverse don't exhibit the allergic
reaction to silver, or else Remus would have trouble handling his own
money. Unless he dons gloves whenever he goes to the store...
