Voldemort the vampire?

Hmmmm . . . this is just too interesting.  Why in the world would 
Quirrell have to pick up a book on vampires?  Other than his post as 
teacher . . . I mean, we know he's already working with Voldemort.  
Could he be trying to turn Voldemort into a vampire?  Could Voldemort 
already be one?

To quote Orla's recent ending to her message:

So . . . could be that JKR is keeping us in mind of vampires in all 
the books she's written for a reason, and yet not completely 
explained them yet in the books because she's building her own 
version of the vampire?

Oooo I should have looked in the archives for this one, so I'll do 
that right now . . .
