(After all he never heard of Quidditch and was rabbiting on about the West 
Ham soccer team for his first year. Doesn't sound like a wizarding kid to 
me...)
Agree that it is only about half of fanon that is determined to claim 
Lavendar Brown is Muggle-born. But there is strong circumstansial evidence 
for Thomas.
