Okay, *really* minor point here, but this has been mentioned a few times this
week, and I was reading this part last night and that's not what happened. 
Neville was attempting a "simple Switching Spell" and transplanted his ears
*onto* a cactus.  He did not Transfigure his ears into cactuses (or cacti - but
as a child in Arizona, people there always said "cactuses", and after all, they
should know <G>).
