Sorry, JKRowling said it in an interview. I don't have a reference to
the interview but I'm sure others will back me up.

I would like to see it again, if someone has a link. What I would like
it to say is that Hogwarts is the only school of it's kind in the UK.
Which would imply that there are other schools of other kinds in the
UK, and that in turn would support my theory of One Hogwarts College
level school, and a few more limited magic schools.

I could never get that lucky though.
