I don't believe that we are sure that anyone besides Nevilles 
<father> was an auror. And, as far as I know, Both James and Lilies 
professions, as well as where they got their money have yet to be 
revealed.

The Idea that Lily and Mrs Longbottom were Auros <is> a common fanon 
idea tho, so that may be where you have seen it.
