Malfoy Money---A Thought

Refarding the Malfoy money. Reference is made directly to this in the 
CoS. Malfoy senior purchased a set of top of the range Nimbus 2001 
broomsticks for the Slytherin team at presumably great expense. Later 
in the same book the Weasleys make reference to this and refer to the 
fact that Draco has a rich father who bought him into the team. There 
may be other references in the books but this is the first thing that 
springs to my mind.
