I agree with Pip and Amy - I would also be terribly disappointed if 
the series ended with "it was all a dream."  Amy put it well - JKR 
has managed to make the world so real, that to have it all be in 
actuality unreal would be a disappointing end to the series (IMO).

I think canon provides strong fodder for why it *isn't* all a dream.  
The books describe a number of Harry's dreams which suggest that he 
has the ability to know what's going on in other places, and to 
foresee future events.  How could it all be a dream when we're 
already taken inside of his dreams?
