Well, patronus is close to Latin for father if not the actual word 
for it (My Latin sucks, I apologize). If it is the embodiment of 
James then it would be in a form that could protect his son from a 
swarm of dementors. Dunno if that's what you meant by that question, 
so apologizes if it wasn't.
