My apologies. :) I didn't mean to give the impression that "strictly after
Mudbloods" WAS what you said; it's just that what you did say raised a
similar, although quite different question in my mind. I should have been
more specific about that!

I also noticed that no one has come forth with any suggestions as to how
the basilisk was supposed to tell the difference between the students'
bloodlines. Maybe you're right, and it really didn't make any difference
who got stoned/killed. Riddle's attitude just made me wonder; HE was quite
specific about who he wanted the victims to be.
