I don¹t think I¹d want to assume leadership if there was even the
possibility of Voldemort coming back. I doubt he¹d take it kindly if
someone, even temporarily, assumed power.  Also, it¹s possible that the Dark
Mark that everyone has on their arms is linked to him directly.  In GOF,
Snape showed his tattoo to Fudge and mentioned that it was so apparent
because Voldemort was getting stronger.  Which makes me wonder is that if
Voldemort actually died, would the DE¹s die as well? Sort of an insurance
that none of them attempt an uprising against him? Just a thought..
