Hi! I like that theory, to me it makes a lot more sense than the ones 
about Arthur.  I do see one problem however.  If the death eater came 
into the house to put molly under the curse, then why not just kill 
the child him/herself?  It could (and would) still cause terror in 
the Weasly house.  But maybe they meant to not only cause terror, but 
to psychologically damage.  Killing your daughter would certainly be 
damaging.
