Sirius' House

Ok, tell me if this is new to anyone, or if this is a really old 
thought that just came into my head, but who else has thought that at 
least Sirius should be a Slytherin?  I mean, Hagrid was totally 
convinced that Sirius was a Death Eater, right? And Hagrid said that 
there wasn't a Death Eater that didn't come from Slytherins.  JKR 
pays way too much attention to detail to not have noticed that.  And 
if Sirius is a Slytherin wouldn't it have made since for James to be 
in there too? A thought, sorry if I messed up your brain too much.
