It is also implicitly mentioned in GoF-02, where, when "Harry
listened closely to the silence around him. Was he half
expecting to hear the creak of a stair ..." (p. 22 Bloomsbury).

When that stair finally /does/ creak, I think I will hide
under my pillow ;-)
