Dear Sally,

I find it interesting that it would be made of a yew branch.  The yew 
is the symbolic tree of death.  Harry's wand is made of Holly, wich 
is the tree of life and justice.  That is the only reason that I 
could think of.  I would like to hear other opinions though.
