But the main Hufflepuff traits, according to the Sorting Hat, are 
diligence, loyalty and justice -- not patience.  Pettigrew 
certainnly isn't loyal and just (we don't really have information on 
how diligent he is).  I actually don't think Ravenclaw is ruled out -
- Pettigrew never stuck me as particularly stupid -- but I remain 
conviced that he was a Griffindor.  His problem, it seems to me, is 
not so much lack of courage as lack of moral strength.
