I'm sure there will be alot of parents not sending their kids back to school 
this year, and thats why there would be room on the team.

It may very well be a hoax but why is the possibility of it so unlikely?  It's a small school, the position is available and he's, actually, in a good position to be chosen. He already has had three brothers on the team...who are good.  Besides the advantage of his athletic gene pool, who do you think gets to play defense when you have three older brothers who excell at a sport? How many goalies are the youngest in a family?  It just doesn't seem at all like a stretch to me.
