Hey! This brings up a very interesting thought.
Elkins suggested in her Crouch novenna that to some
exten JKR cheats with the Crouch sub-plot. She doesn't
give the tough and Livian and morally upright and
rules-bound Crouch a fair chance, because it turns out
in the end that he is none of the above, except tough.
:-)
Will Percy get the chance to stand in for this point
of view? Or will he be dragged down by hypocricy?
Somehow, I can actually see Percy being allowed to
represent the other side without being a hypocrite.
And then we can have a clash of ideologies without the
waters being muddied by hypocricy.
Not that there's anything wrong with hypocricy, of
course.
