Lily was NOT a Muggle.  Lily was a witch.  A Muggle-born witch, yes, but
still a witch.  When Draco asked if Harry's parents were "one of *our*
kind", Harry replied, "They were a witch and a wizard, if that's what you
mean."  While Harry's family may not have a long magical lineage (on
Lily's side, at least), he isn't a Mudblood.  Tom Riddle referred to him
as a "halfblood", remember.

Me:  Of course the humorous thing about that whole line is that Voldemart himself is a whole lot more muggle then Harry is!  His Father WAS a muggle.  Under no circumstance can he be considered a pureblood!  BTW:  As hatred always needs to find a way to externalize itself rather then self-destruct, Voldemart's hatred of muggles really would have to be more than just a loathing of his father for what he did.  It's an externalization of the self-hatred he feels for his own half-muggle heritage.  Gee, remind anybody of a maniacal dicator from about 60 years ago?  Huggs Becky
